The Electric Press® was establish in 1983 by Ara John Movsesian and for several years it only dealt with the publishing of books. The first book was Pearls of Love: How to Write Love Letters and Love Poems and several other books followed in the ensuing years. In 1986, the Electric Press® published several educational card games including Alphabet Twist an alphabet card game and Rinky Dink a rummy-like children's card game. Ancilliary games that were copyrighted included, Alphabet Run, LetterLink and LetteRoundup.

In 1995, at the start of the internet website boom, the Electric Press® created The Love and Romance Home Page which today is called Loveandromance360.com. In addition to this pioneering web site on the topic of the expression of Love and Affection, several other web sites are now in operation, including DiamondAvenue.com, Classywheels.com, Clothingclub.com, Dronepricer.com, Flightpricer.com and Tixpick.com.
